Hello, my name is Shareef Clinton.

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia while in college.

I’m 24 years old, and for most of my life, I’ve lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Things for me were about staying focused and doing what I can to sustain success in my life and endeavors. Although that is what the plan was, things started getting complicated without my knowing, and it (schizophrenia) hit me. I didn’t know exactly what it was that I had been going through. It’s a tough thing to realize that you are a paranoid schizophrenic. For me, it was undeniably a tough task to get through. Dealing with schizophrenia is hard; there were many obstacles to get through. Also, receiving help for the diagnoses was a task. This project should benefit all types of people.

This project is about helping people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia

As there are currently 2.6 million people dealing with schizophrenia America, which is 1.1% of the United States of America’s population. It seems small in percentage, but 2 million people are currently dealing with a status that hinders the lifestyle of a typical American, which consists of having and holding a job or career, being and staying in school, and or graduating and earning a college degree. These things seemed very simple and straight forward. They were simple and straight forward, at a time when things seemed to be okay. Then, when I was diagnosed, I didn’t know how, when, or why it happened; it just happened. However, dealing with schizophrenia has been a journey, and this project is supposed to bring people with me on my journey and prevent the dangers and making it an easier process being schizophrenic. There are many ways to help. Join us; we can do this together. (:
